max is the MAN!

I had the absolute honor of photographing this little bundle of love last Friday.

Max likes the camera and doesn’t want to sleep.

I can tell, he’s going to be a heart breaker.

of hives….and such

I had a fantastic weekend!

I headed out of town with another fantastic photographer, Tera Pettit, to second at a wedding in Spokane, Washington. The venue was the Glover Mansion. It was a beautiful and intimate wedding. The bride, Christine, was so beautiful and the groom, Matt, was smokin’ hot. It was such and honor to share that day with them in such a spectacular location.

The day after the wedding I woke up with what I thought were spider bites on my legs. As the day progressed, I kept getting new ‘bites’. No one else in my family was getting eaten alive and truthfully, I am a mosquito magnet. By evening one of my eyes was swelling and when I went to dinner at my parents house, my mom exclaimed, “Those are hives, not bites!”. Having never even seen a hive…except the bee variety….I had no idea. I got on some anti-histamine right away and stopped taking the anti-biotic I was on since it’s a pretty common allergen.

I got in to the Dr. right away which rocked because by this morning I was a huge walking itch factory. She agreed that It was probably due to the anti-biotic and put me on steroids. So yup, you guessed it……no Olympic gold for me this year.

I should be feeling better in a couple of days but until then, I can be found veg-ing about the house so as not to disgust the public with my freakish, red welts. If you do stop by and I answer the door in sunglasses, it’s for your own darn good. My eyes are so puffy it looks like I’ve been in a fight.

I’d show you pictures of my wonderful new look but alas…I’m afraid to break the camera. Here is a link to wiki-pedia if your that interested.

Here’s a favorite from Saturday she is just moments from walking down the aisle….enjoy!
